Indian Air Force Chopper Crashes, Seven Personnel Dead

Arunachal Pradesh: An Indian Air Force (IAF) helicopter Mi 17 V5 crashed on Friday in Arunachal Pradesh’s Tawang area, killing at least Seven Air Force personnel.

According to reports, the Air Force chopper was crashed around 6 am on Friday during a training session. Seven personnel on board the chopper were killed while one person was critically injured.

As per reports, Mi 17 V5 is a transport helicopter and the chopper involved in today’s crash was carrying out an air maintenance mission.

The Indian Air Force has ordered an inquiry into this incident to ascertain the cause.
