Washington: The making of a legend, a book on Prime Minister Narendra Modi was globally launched on Wednesday in Washington.
Written by Bindeshwar Pathak, the founder of NGO Sulabh International, the book has images and text depicting the prime minister’s journey. The book also depicts Modi’s struggle and initiatives after assuming the office in 2014.
Appreciating the prime minister, Pathak described Modi as a true grassroots leader and said that India is all set to ensure 100 percent sanitation coverage by 2019.
Copies of the book were presented to Congressmen H Morgan Griffith, Thomas A Garrett, Barbara Comstock, Ted Yoho and Ami Bera. As per reports, all the lawmakers praised the efforts of Modi.
The book was launched in India in July.
