Central Govt Bans use of Gmail Yahoo in Official Communications

Central Government has banned to use Gmail, Yahoo private Internet services for official communications. It is came into spotlight that official information sent through private Internet services are viewed by unidentified persons. Also, it found out that some countries are secretly viewing and taking the official information sent through private e-mail services.

Both State and Central Government employees are using these private e-mail services to send Government related information. For official communications, they are using Gmail and Yahoo Internet services.

Recently news has received that U.S Intelligence Department is secretly viewing the official information send by Government officials to the related concern. So, Central Government has banned of using Gmail and Yahoo Internet mail services for sending official information.

E-Mail Policy

Central Government has decided to define E-mail policy in 2 months. Instead of using private E-mail services, Government has planned to create official websites and separate E-mail services to transfer official information. About 6 million State and Central Government officers will exchange information via separate Internet services launched by Central Government. They also believe by implementing this, official and secret information of India can be protected.
