Cricketer Sreesanth Banned for Life: IPL Spot – Fixing

Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced on Sept 13 Friday that Sreesanth has been banned for life from playing any representative cricket matches for IPL spot-fixing. BCCI disciplinary committee said this today after having a joint meeting with the committee members.

Sreesanth, so far has played 27 tests. Sreesanth and other two players were arrested by Delhi police on May 2013 for spot- fixing in IPL match. Sreesanth is no more in Indian cricket match and he cant play in any legal matches for life time.

Along with Sreesanth, Ankeet Chavan (Sreesanth’s team mate in IPL) of Rajasthan Royals team was also banned for life from playing cricket. BCCI board relating this spot-fixing banned Amit Singh for 5 years and Siddharth Trivedi for one year.
