Five persons were killed and more than 100 persons were injured in the serial blast that exploded in Patna on Sunday. There were about seven low intensity serial blast exploded at different places including the venue of Narendra Modi’s rally in Patna.
Four persons were taken into custody. Police investigators say that one of the suspects who is a resident of Ranchi had confessed having role in the serial blast. National Investigation Agency is sent to Patna for collecting samples from the blast and to investigate along with National Security Guard on the terror attack.
Patna SSP Manu Maharaj said “Four people were detained. Some documentations and phone numbers have been found from one of the suspects who confessed his involvement in the blast. Investigation is going on..”.
Bihar Chief Minister, Nitish Kumar cancelled his programmes and remained in Patna to hold meeting with DGP and other bureaucrats regarding the attack. He also denied lack of security arrangements for BJP rally. He also offered the cost of treatment for the injured in the blast.
