Petition to PM: Amnesty in Support of Eelam Tamils

Amnesty international submitted a petition to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in support of Eelam Tamil people. The petition was signed by 14 lakh Indians insisting the Central Government to conduct an international investigation on the war crimes and human rights violation of Srilanka.

The petition submitted to Mr.Prime Minister demanded the Indian Government to make severe and necessary action immediately for the jusctice for the Srilankan Tamil people.

The head of Amnesty India, Anand Padmanachan, submitted the petition to Minister Narayanasamy in the Prime Minister office. The petition also insisted the Union Nation Human Rights Council to monitor the violation of Human Rights in Srilanka.

India have to get back the Prevention of Terrorism Act that has been implemented against innocent people in Srilanka. The Amnesty India has been mobilizing support for the Tamil Eelam people in Srilanka for the past 8 months by registering voice and sms from India.
