Some Universities doesn’t Satisfy Eligible Norms: Governor Regreted

Unviersities lack eligibility, Eligibility not completed by universities

The four universities including Tamilnadu Open University and Thiruvalluar University were running without getting UGC’s 12 P qualifications said Tamilnadu Governor and Universities Vice-Chancellor Rosaiah regretted. According to university Grants Commission the universities fulfilling some basic requirement will be given 12 p. The universities should undertake some steps to attain this qualification. It was said in the meeting conducted in Governor House. To increase the value of the post graduation studies a Vice Chancellor’s conference is conducted under the head of Governor Rosaiah.
To get the 12 p qualification the university should have right infrastructure, adequate staff and more than 15 departments. He also pointed that though ragging is controlled by ragging stopping group, the reports relating to it is not arriving timely to district group. In the Vice-Chancellor Conference, Ministers and secretaries for School Education, Higher education and Vice-Chancellor’s of Universities were present.
